There were nightmares and debt, which followed him through life. Still, this man of iron, with inner strength, born of faith, was a determined man, ever ready to be a good husband, a great father, a true American. Following his death, I knew his was a story worth telling. You would have enjoyed knowing him. The title: THE LAST MAN'S CLUB, is derived from a pact. "The last man alive gets to drink the cognac.
